Your feedback is crucial to us, helping improve our services, address any issues, and recognise our staff’s excellent work.

If you already get support from us

If you need to give or receive an update, and you or your carer knows the name of the worker involved in your support, please call 01392 383000 and say their name when prompted.

If you do not have an allocated worker, please contact Adult Social Care on 0345 155 1007. Phone lines are available Monday to Thursday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Friday 9.00 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Our self-help tool can direct you towards information, advice and services that could help you to live independently and improve your life, and also inform if you need a self-assessment to get further support from adult social care teams.

Paying for care – Client Financial Services

Emergency Duty Team (Adult Social Care)

  • Provision of emergency social care and advice for clients urgently in need out of office hours (not including Torbay and Plymouth). Part of Devon County Council.
  • An emergency service responding to adult social care that cannot be safely left until the next day.
  • 0345 600 0388 (option 1)

Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Team

If you are concerned that somebody is being deprived of their liberty you can contact the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Team for information and advice on 01392 381676 or email dols@devon.gov.uk

Interpreters

If you do not speak English, ask for an interpreter. We can access a telephone interpreter.

British Sign Language users can contact us using an online interpreter who will relay your conversation with an appropriate member of Devon County Council staff, and then sign back to you their response to your questions.
