The Learning Disability Partnership Board met on September 15 2025.
Part one
A Team Manager from the Arranging Support Team came to share pieces of easy read he had made giving basic information on direct payments. Members of the Board were able to give him constructive feedback on how to make the materials more accessible to people with learning disabilities.
Part two
The Deputy Director of Adult Social Care – Operations took part in a Q&A. Questions were themed around the importance of community members sitting on interview panels, the expected knowledge of social care staff and providers being encouraged to support people with behaviours that can challenge.
