2025/2026 fee rates for all new placements in care homes for older people (including people aged below 65 years)
Placements are made at banded rates in accordance with the level of assessed need.
Residential Rates
- Residential 1 = £914.50
- Residential 2 = £1065.40
- Residential 3 = £1181.84
Nursing Rates
- Nursing 4 = £1152.57 Funded Nursing Care (FNC) £254.06 Total Rate Per Week = £1406.63
- Nursing 5 = £1255.89 Funded Nursing Care (FNC) £254.06 Total Rate Per Week = £1509.95

Residential
- Accommodation cost £424.00per week
- Personalised Care Hours £15.76 per hour

- Fixed element of fee = £424.00
- 24 hours per week at £15.76= £378.24
- Total weekly fee = £802.24
Nursing
- Accommodation cost £444.00 per week
- Personalised Care Hours £15.76 per hour
