Social care in Devon

The inspection team


Devon County Council is ready to respond to a notification from the Care Quality Commission at any time.

A notification to submit an information return within three weeks was received on 10 February 2025. We await a notification of an inspection visit.

Our step-up plan is designed to ensure we:

  • meet CQC requests for information
  • are able to timetable and facilitate an inspection process
  • can communicate to stakeholders
  • are able to receive and respond to a CQC report including making any necessary improvements
