Devon County Council is ready to respond to a notification from the Care Quality Commission at any time.
A notification to submit an information return within three weeks was received on 10 February 2025. We received a second notification on 4 August 2025 which informed us our inspection visit will be in the week beginning 29 September 2025.
Our step-up plan is designed to ensure we:
- meet CQC requests for information
- are able to timetable and facilitate an inspection process
- can communicate to stakeholders
- are able to receive and respond to a CQC report including making any necessary improvements
