The CQC inspection period is a four week period of activity from 17 September to 8 October 2025. The timetable is detailed below:
• Week 1 and 2: 17 September to 25 September
• Week 3: 30 September to 3 October
• Week 4: 6 October to 8 October
Visitors to County Hall
County Hall is located on Topsham Road in Exeter. The full address is County Hall, Topsham Road, Exeter, EX2 4QD.
County Hall reception is open Monday to Thursday from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm and on Friday from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.

CQC base rooms
The inspection team will be based in Lucombe House – this is a separate building but within the County Hall footprint.
Car parking arrangements
County Hall has ample on-site parking. Car park barriers use automatic number plate recognition. Your registration numbers will have been registered in advance and the barrier will allow you entry into the car park. The intercom can be used if you experience any issues on your first day. You are free to park anywhere that you can find a space.
Please note, that the visitor car parks are operated separately, and charges apply.
Security passes
You will be provided with visitor door access passes for the duration of your visit, and they must be always worn. Please ensure you return all security passes to us at the end of your visit.
