The Schools Mutual Fund Calculator for 2026-27 is now available for schools to use. This will allow schools to calculate the premium for the upcoming membership year. The new calculator can be accessed via the Schools Mutual Fund website: Mutual Fund – Support for schools and settings
Mutual Fund 2026-27
ACTION (All member schools) An AnyComms pre-populated form will be circulated to ask member schools if they wish to continue their membership into 2026-27. Please respond via AnyComms on or before the 27th February 2026
ACTION (Non-Maintained schools only): All current Devon Non-Maintained (Academies/Free Schools) members are to complete the online staffing form with your FTE data from the January 2026 payroll to allow calculation of the 2026-27 premium: Non-Maintained Staffing Figures Form Please complete by 31st March 2026
The Schools Mutual Fund premium charge for 2026-27 has had to increase by 7.5% across teaching and non-teaching cover options. This has been kept as low as possible to ensure the Fund remains self-sufficient and can aim to fully reimburse claims received.
