Devon County Council is undertaking a statutory consultation in the Swallowfields area of Totnes to decide whether to implement residents parking restrictions along the roads of Swallowfields, Riverside and Dartside.
Why are we doing this?
During September and October 2023, Devon County Council advertised a proposed Residents Parking Zone to address concerns raised due to the popularity of the residential roads with the public looking to access the River Dart.
The responses received highlighted that concerns around parking and access to properties were experienced at all hours of the day. To address these comments, proposals for Residents Parking at all times are now being advertised.
Why should I respond?
It is important that we know the current views of everyone who might be affected by new restrictions. Your response will contribute to the final decision.
When do I have to respond by?
The dates of the consultation ran from 16 May until 7 June 2024. The consultation is now closed.
Residents within the area received information in the post with details of the consultation and how to respond.
