The Government has published guidance for providers of Supported Living, covering safe systems of working including social distancing, respiratory and hand hygiene, enhanced cleaning and how infection prevention and control and personal protective equipment applies to those settings.

Self-isolation periods increased

6 August 2020

Guidance (link) has been updated to reflect the extension of the self-isolation period from 7 days to 10 days for staff who have COVID-19 symptoms or a positive test result from the community, the 14 days isolation period for staff and patients who are admitted to hospital, and information on re-testing of staff. Heatwave Alert: Level 3

The Met Office have issued a Level 3 Heatwave Alert as there is a 90% probability of the Heat-Health criteria being met between 6 August and 11 August, for which Government guidance (link) must be followed.
