The Team are aware that some claim submissions are received where both the staff name and certifier names are the same. These claims are then subsequently rejected with advice notes sent to the sender. This issue is caused by the ‘Autofill’ or ‘Auto Complete’ facility, often included with Internet browsers.
Browsers will generally allow you to click a pop up box just above or below the ‘Certified By’ field at the bottom of the Mutual Fund Claim Form to add your own name and email address into the appropriate boxes, however, this option also amends the ‘Staff Details’ data already input within the claim itself, further up the page.
Please be careful to double-check the ‘Staff Details’ are correct prior to final submission of the form.
Turn Auto Complete off in the Microsoft Edge Internet browser
Users can turn off Auto Complete by following these steps – Open Microsoft EDGE –> Settings –> Profiles –> Personal info and set ‘save and fill basic info’ to off.
