You will need
- A space blanket
- A selection of favourite toys
- A well-lit area
What to do
1.Sit in front of the learner – they could be on the floor or on a chair – anywhere comfortable.
2.Hold the space blanket up in between you and the learner and pop up and down.
3.Try swapping for a favourite toy to pop up as a surprise.
Purpose
The reflective and crinkly nature of the blanket provides visual and auditory stimulation.
Adjust the activity based on the learner’s preferences and needs.
