Standardised pupil writing collections are produced each year for LA moderator training. These materials can support teachers in making their judgements when assessing children’s work at the end of key stage 1. The accompanying commentaries are useful, providing detailed explanations of why a collection meets a particular standard and what prevents it from having met the higher standard.
