Inclusion Partners
All schools in Devon have a named Inclusion Partner.
What they offer
- Termly targeted support meeting for all secondary schools and large primary schools.
- Providing strategies, advice and guidance to schools around attendance.
- Support schools on the early identification of emerging patterns of irregular pupil attendance, whilst paying particular attention to supporting our most vulnerable pupils.
Age range supported: Primary and secondary.
Locality Inclusion Drop-ins
What they offer
- A 30-minute Microsoft Teams consultation to discuss any questions or concerns relating to attendance, inclusion and SEND within your school.
- The opportunity to discuss the needs of an individual pupil where parental consent has been obtained.
- Solution-focused consultations with Inclusion Partners, Educational Psychologists and other relevant professionals.
- Practical advice, support and signposting to appropriate services and resources.

Mental Health Support Team (MHST)
The Mental Health Support Team in Schools (MHST) is an NHS service commissioned to work with a number of schools across Devon. Please note: they do not yet cover all areas of Devon – please check their website to see which areas and schools can currently access this service.

Outreach to some schools and mental health support.
Age range supported: Early Years through to Further Education.

The Virtual School provide additional support for care experienced pupils.
What they offer
The Virtual School provides outreach to schools, works directly with young people, provides support for parents/carers and training for schools (EBSA specifically), carers and social care.
