General 176: Disclosure of Business/Pecuniary Interests – Information

Guidance is provided by DCC regarding disclosure of business / pecuniary interests. This guidance can be found on the following web page: Guidance Page

As a member of staff, you should familiarise yourself with this guidance and use the declaration form to record any business/pecuniary interests you may have.

All business/pecuniary interests must be reported to an officer’s line manager using the declaration form and the line manager must consider if any potential conflict of interest is created.

Completed declaration forms should then be held by the Governing Body for monitoring and safekeeping. Please note that forms are no longer held by the County Solicitor.

If you have any queries relating to the forms or guidance pages, please refer to HR One for assistance.
