General 175: Delegated Maternity Fund Update

The Central Delegated Maternity Fund accepts claims from the following Devon Maintained settings:

G120 – Primary Schools

G130 – Secondary (7-11)

G140  – Secondary with 6th Form

G150 – Special Schools

G129/G119 (Nursery Plus)

G121/G122 Governor-Led Extended Provisions – Such as Pre-Schools/After School Clubs that are run through schools with DCC school employees.

Any maternity on the above manage/fund codes will be able to claim from the fund and the appropriate code amendments will be made internally once notification of the maternity is received via the Devon Payroll Department within HR ONE.

The following manage/fund codes are not entitled to claim from the Maternity Fund.

G121/G122 Non-Governor Led BCs (Breakfast Clubs) ASCs (After School Clubs) – Charity run or self-sufficient where staff are not DCC employees.

Any claims relating to the above settings will not be able to claim from the fund and any payments made from 01/01/2022 will be subject to recovery by the Education Finance Team.
