Dear Colleague,
There has been much planning, activity and effort gone into the process of converting the Bromcom system in schools from the old FINEST chart of accounts over to the new Unit 4 chart of accounts.
I am acutely aware that, despite everyone’s best endeavours, there are still some issues which are causing operational issues with the Year End and the transition across to the Unit 4 chart of accounts.
However, I need to keep updating you all so rather than sending lots of individual blog messages across several technical issues I am proposing this Shared Update Log in which each of the issues is separately listed and the log of actions relating to it is recorded as a substantiated record. The blogs will then act as an alert message focusing on a particular action highlighted in this Shared Update Log. Hopefully, this will ensure that all the history and collective actions are consultable in a single location, removing the need to chase down previous blogs.
