Claim Submissions

Claims are to be submitted via the Mutual Fund claim form, which can be found on the Mutual Fund web page, under the heading ‘Mutual Fund Claim Form’. A link is provided to the Mutual Fund web page: Mutual Fund – Support for schools and settings (devon.gov.uk)

Claim Deadlines

Please be aware that while most claim submission deadlines for the Mutual Fund fall at the end of the following month, there are instances where the deadline is extended, to take account of the summer holidays and instances where the deadline is reduced, prior to and during the end of year closedown.

Mutual Fund Waiting Times

The Mutual Fund requires differing waiting periods before a claim is paid, depending on the type of school and level of cover the member school chooses to purchase, and the Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) of the individual. The Mutual Fund web page provides tables to allow member schools to identify the FTE of the individual and then the number of waiting days required, before their claim can be paid: Mutual Fund – Support for schools and settings (devon.gov.uk)
