Administration 113: ACTION – Tax Free Childcare – Information regarding income allocation


Please be aware that Revenue Services have been under considerable pressure recently and are currently behind with allocation requests.  Revenue are working through a large volume of requests dating back as early as April.  Please do not send chaser emails about outstanding receipts, these lead to wasted time sorting through the extra emails.

Revenue are facing particular difficulty with Tax Free Childcare queries, being inundated with queries of the same pending receipts.

Action for Schools

Please ensure that allocation emails to the Revenue Team provide the following, where applicable:

  • Correct DCC invoice (example: 54639270)
  • Budget reference (example: G120,G20xx,9220)
  • Child Reference (example:ABBC00099) Four letters, followed by five digits.
  • Please also provide relevant details such as the amount, payee and expected receipt date as needed.

The information above will ensure prompt allocation. Receipts without this information likely will not be allocated and as such, it is critical to provide this information.
