Two year old funding

We have made some changes regarding our internal processes for 2 year old funding and new invites are being sent to parents, however for providers you will see little change.


Updates to Templates and Documents

You may be using templates and documents in regards to two year old funding, for example, the Parent Declaration form. We are working our way through these templates and other documents and also checking our website to ensure we are using the correct terminology.


Virtual Training Sessions – Completion of the Autumn Term Headcount Task

We will be running virtual training sessions about the completion of the Autumn Term Headcount task. Free Fruit and Veg Boxes available! Now open to more families! DEADLINE FRIDAY 24TH SEPTEMBER

We have FREE fresh fruit and veg boxes remaining and so are broadening our eligibility criteria to reach more families in the Devon County Council area, to include any pregnant women or families with young children who are in need or have been experiencing a particularly challenging time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, even if they are not eligible for Healthy Start at this time.


The Children’s Commissioner’s The Big Ask…and The Big Answer

Earlier this year, The Children’s Commissioner asked all children in England to complete a survey, to show the true voice of this generation. The results are in and The Children’s Commissioner would like to say thank you.


Autumn Term Survey of Providers

The next survey of providers covering the Autumn Term has gone out this week (week commencing 20th September).


Can you help us by completing a survey about inclusivity?

We have started a Short Breaks Project to improve fun activities for children and young people in Devon. You can help us learn how we can make short breaks in Devon even better, by answering the questions in this survey.

Small Grants Scheme – applications sought

The scheme, provided by Devon County Council in partnership with Parent Carer Forum Devon, can provide up to £5,000 to organisations to support children and young people (0-18) with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
