  • Additional bank holiday 2023 – Coronation of King Charles III

    The government has announced that Monday 8th May will be an additional Bank Holiday to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III. As with other Bank Holidays, it is at the discretion of individual Early Years settings as to whether they should remain open or close on that day.

  • Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) 2023 update

    The funding round for the Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) 2023 is nearing completion. There will be 62 providers delivering holiday activities and food across Devon for children receiving a benefit related Free School Meal.

  • Norovirus is on the increase in Devon!

    Norovirus, also called the “winter vomiting bug”, is a stomach bug that causes vomiting and diarrhoea. It can be very unpleasant, but usually goes away in about 2 days. It is important to keep hydrated – especially children and the elderly.

  • Stronger Practice Hub South West – Launch Event

  • 0-2 Community Action Grant funding

    Action for Children have been awarded further funding by Devon County Council to assist groups and organisations who support parents and carers of 0-2 year olds who may have been affected by the pandemic and they are inviting applications for funding to help you set up or expand your current provision.
