  • Capital funding and wraparound programme funding

    The government have given local authorities grant funding to set up new early years and new wraparound childcare or to expand existing provision. To enable us to spend this money where it will have the greatest impact we need your help. Please complete the Provider Self Update if you haven’t already done so.

  • EYFS safeguarding requirements – DfE consultation launched

  • Funding training and information sessions and NEW ‘early years funding updates’ webpage

    The Early Years Funding Team will be running some funding training and information sessions for providers in the summer term. Next dates are: ‘Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)’ on Mon 22 April at 7pm, and ‘Calculating funding sessions for summer’ on Weds 24 April at 7pm.

  • Ofsted updates and amendments for April 2024

    Ofsted have updated a number of documents, and whilst these changes are minor, you do need to ensure you are working to the most up to date document. Updates include: information for all early years and childcare providers and information for parents.

  • Health protection in education and early years settings webinar – Thursday 25th April, 4pm – 5pm
