Information around early years funding rates following recent government announcement.

Our next update sessions around the Provider Self-Update & Find Childcare (running on 8th and 11th December) will now include a software demonstration from Polylino – a useful resource for settings that have children with English as an additional language.

Learn Devon and Devon Early Years and Childcare Service are working together to offer NCFE CACHE Level 2 Diploma for Early Years Practitioners (EYP). This will be a full and relevant DfE approved qualification. Please complete an expression of interest form by 11 December so that we can gauge interest.

Please share fully funded training to support children living with asthma. Suitable for education staff, childcare providers, leaders of children’s clubs and leaders of all U18 sports clubs.

Devon Maternity Neonatal Voices Partnership (DMNVP) work with service users and their families to gather feedback about their experience with Maternity services. Please share this survey with anyone that has feedback on maternity services and would like to have their voice heard.

The Children’s Commissioner for England, Dame Rachel de Souza, has launched ‘The Big Ambition’ – a new campaign to hear directly from children and young people.

Updates this week include: Early years qualifications achieved in the United Kingdom – qualification checklist has been updated and updated information on ‘apply to join a nursery or other daycare organisation’ – to include updated info on reference requirement for roles that involve working directly with children.
