    The Government’s new Stop Abuse Together website can help you learn to spot the signs, and have regular conversations with your child which can help keep them safe, and know when it’s right to reach out for more support.

  • Golden tickets out of circulation August 2022

    Any remaining Golden Tickets issued last summer will be valid up until the end of August 2022. After August 2022 providers should not be presented with Golden Tickets anymore.

    Following a successful bid for funding, Devon County Council and Babcock LDP will be offering an exciting opportunity to a select group of early years providers to extend their practice by training to become a Video Interactive Guidance (VIG) practitioner.

  • Supporting vulnerable children

    In response to the Government’s ongoing requirement to ensure the safety and line of site of vulnerable children, DCC’s EYCS have update the Supporting Vulnerable Children Early Years Risk Assessment document to assist early years and childcare providers in safeguarding vulnerable children. Please use the ‘making every contact count’ form whenever you have regular contact with a child who is known to have an allocated social worker.
