We would like to thank those of you who have completed the Provider Self Update. However there remain a number of you who have yet to complete the PSU and/or have only partially completed it. We would ask that you complete this as soon as possible.

This fully funded webinar, run by the UK Health Security Agency South West Health Protection Team, will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn about childhood infections in early years and educational settings. Date: Tuesday 5th March 2024 at 16:00 – 17:00.

We are inviting families, professionals and community organisations to help shape services that support young families. Please could we ask for your support in responding to this questionnaire and/ or in sharing this link to your families and other professionals you are connected with to invite as many responses as possible. Survey closes on 23 March.

An update on supply costs for practitioners undertaking the Professional Development Programme.

Funding streams this week include: ‘The Steel Charitable Trust’; ‘BBC Children in Need’ and ‘Masonic Charitable Foundation’.

Have you recently taken over responsibility for using the Provider Portal or need a refresher? The Early Years Funding Team will be running virtual training sessions on how to complete your Summer Headcount and Amendment tasks. Sessions will run on 3rd May at 11am and 13th May at 6.30pm.

There will be no Digest next week (w/c 12th February). The Digest will resume after the half term break!

Our fortnightly information sessions for providers around funding will continue until the end of March. Next sessions will run on Friday 23 Feb at 10.30am and Wednesday 28th Feb at 6.30pm.

Before completing the provider self update it is important that you read the guidance notes and watch the training videos to ensure that you complete all of the information required.

To support their campaign to promote early years and childcare careers, the DfE are asking early years and childcare providers to list any current or upcoming roles in their setting on the Find a Job website.
