When do I need to submit?
Please submit your data as soon as possible and prior to the final deadlines
Final Deadline Monday 24th June 2024
Provide year 1 phonics screening checks and year 2 phonics screening rechecks in the same CTF.
You do not need to wait for the threshold mark to be announced before you send in your data file.
Follow guidance from your software supplier to add the threshold information to your data collection system when it is made available. Threshold published Monday 24th June 2024
Remember to check the following when a new year 1 or year 2 pupil joins your school:
- for year 2 pupils check if they achieved the threshold in year 1 – this should be provided by the previous school but can be checked in GIAP.
- for year 1 pupils joining during the phonics screening check week (10 – 14 June) or during time table variation week (17 – 21 June) – identify if you need to administer the phonics screening check . You will need to check with the previous school.
Pupils cannot be tested outside the window. Testing outside the window can lead to a maladministration investigation.
