This year most of you will see either a reduction or an increase in your insurance recharge in relation to buildings and contents insurance. This is because the buildings and contents premium part of your recharge is apportioned based on the insurance value of your property and contents and DCC has recently completed a revaluation exercise for insurance purposes. The total amount that we have recharged has not changed for this year, but the amount that relates to your school would have, in line with the new, up to date insurance values which are the same values provided to the insurance provider.
