At the recent bursar briefings the schools who attended expressed a wish that there was better communication from the Service desk about the problems that they were encountering, so they didn’t necessarily need to contact the service desk to log a call if it was a widespread issue that was affecting all schools and when the issue was likely to be resolved.
To achieve that better communication, Devon Schools will need to subscribe to Bromcom Finance Status and Bromcom MIS Status updates to receive email notification for known issues including regular updates, expected resolution times and potential workarounds. This will provide timely updates and will save schools having to take time to contact the Service Desk for information.
To do this schools need to click on the link to the Scomis Service Status and chose which services they want to subscribe to for updates
As soon as you subscribe you will receive relevant notifications for Bromcom Cloud MIS or Finance issues as they happen. The services are highlighted on the screen shot below
