Administration 239: Scomis Update – Bromcom Hosting Transition


Dear Customer

Further to our previous communication regarding the closure of ScoCloud (Scomis Bromcom Hosting) services, we are writing to provide a further update and to address the questions raised during this process. We want to reassure you that we are doing everything possible to ensure this transition is as smooth as possible for schools. The changes are being managed as a back-office activity, and we have been working closely with Bromcom throughout to minimise any disruption.

Working closely with Bromcom, we have established the following arrangements:

  • Transition timing: The migration of hosting services will begin from 6:00pm on Friday 26th June 2026. During this period, your system will be unavailable throughout part of the weekend whilst work is completed.
  • School action required: All users must be fully logged out of both the Bromcom MIS and Finance system before 6:00pm on Friday 26th June 2026 to support a smooth transition. Any changes made after this time may not be transferred.

Third-party integrations: You will need to co‑ordinate with any third‑party systems (for example Wonde, Groupcall) to update your Bromcom URL from https://bromcom.scomis.org to https://cloudmis.bromcom.com. We recommend scheduling this work with your third‑party providers to take place over the weekend of 26th June 2026.

Third Party Application integration with Bromcom – Frequently Asked Questions

  • Service restart: Work will continue over the weekend to ensure a smooth transition, and services will be fully operational from midday Sunday 28th June 2026, with no change to the user experience.
  • Charges and invoicing: There will be no change to pricing. Bromcom will charge schools at the same rates currently applied. Scomis will invoice up to and including 26th June 2026, after which Bromcom will take over invoicing from Monday 29th June 2026.
  • Contracts and data: All existing arrangements with Bromcom relating to data remain in place.
  • System access: Access to Bromcom will move to a new website address. The new access link will be https://cloudmis.bromcom.com

To support continuity, Scomis will redirect the current access link to the new Bromcom address until 31st December 2026, giving schools sufficient time to update bookmarks and internal documentation.

  • Support moving forward: Scomis will continue to support schools through ScoSupport. Our Service Desk Team remains available to help with any “how do I” queries or system-related support queries with Bromcom MIS and Finance following the transition.

We appreciate your cooperation during this transition and will continue to work closely with Bromcom to ensure a seamless experience for all schools.
