Schools Financial Value Standard 2020/21
Based on currently available information, the maintained schools are still expected to submit their 2020/21 Schools Financial Value Standard to Devon Audit Partnership, on behalf of Devon County Council, no later than 28th May 2021.
Under normal circumstances, the front sheet of the form, the introduction and outcomes tab, would be signed by the Chair of Governors. The completed submission and a scanned copy of this page would then be sent to the Partnership’s SFVS mailbox.
Due to the national Covid-19 restrictions and revised meeting arrangements for Governing Bodies, obtaining the Chair of Governors signature may prove to be more difficult following approval of the submission at an online Governing Body meeting.
In order to facilitate the requirement for the Chair of Governors to sign the approved submission, the Partnership is happy to accept either:
· The Chair of Governors electronic signature being added to the submission following approval; or,
· An email from the Chair of Governors confirming approval of the submission at an online meeting.
The completed submission, in the Excel format, and the email from the Chair of Governors should be sent to the Partnership’s Schools Financial Value Standard mailbox – schoolfinancialvaluestandard-mailbox@devon.gov.uk
The Schools Audit Team will then send an email to the School or Federation to acknowledge receipt of the submission.
