How do I send you the Phonics checks and rechecks data?
In one CTF file.
Please include both year 1 Phonics checks and any Year 2 rechecks that were needed. Year 2 rechecks are for pupils who did not achieve the threshold in the Summer 2023 phonics screening check. For new pupils you will need to find out from their previous school if they need to be rechecked.
If I notice a mistake in the data I submitted for EYFSP or Phonics and I want to resubmit what do I do?
We encourage all schools to check their data by looking at the reports we will make available in July on Perspective Lite. If you discover an error whilst doing your check you will need to submit a new CTF file with all the pupils you want included for your submission for that key stage. You will not be able to submit a CTF file with just the amended data for the one child. Once you send a CTF file and we upload it in our system it overwrites any previous CTF files for your school. If you need to resubmit please send us an email to schooldataassessment@devon.gov.uk and include: your school’s name and DfE number as well as the name of the file you deem is correct.
What do I do if I am having issues accessing the Primary Assessment Gateway?
Please ensure Get Information About Schools (GIAS) is up to date with the school’s headteacher information. If a Head Teacher leaves / joins the school then the correct access will be given for the DFE Sign In and the Primary Assessment Gateway. If you are a logged in user you will be able to edit and establishment record.
