Building babies brains – 1001 champions course
A fully funded training course to support you to increase your knowledge of baby brain development, bonding and resilience, and be confident in sharing this information with parents/carers/communities. Course starts 15th March.
Training session – completion of the spring term amendment task
The Early Years and Childcare Service Funding Team will be running a training session on the completion of the spring term amendment task on Tuesday 22nd March 2022.
Funding Friday
Funding streams this week include: Garfield Weston Foundation, The National Lottery Community Fund, Small Grants Scheme – Foyle Foundation and Emergency Essentials Programme – BBC Children in Need.
The Digest takes a break
There will be no Digest next week (Friday 25th February). The Digest will resume on 4th March.
Targeted training to improve relationships between practitioners and children with additional needs
Following a successful bid for funding, Devon County Council and Babcock LDP will be offering an exciting opportunity to a select group of early years providers to extend their practice by training to become a Video Interactive Guidance (VIG) practitioner.

Early Years Entitlement funding information session
The Early Years & Childcare Service will be holding a virtual Funding Information Session on Thursday 20th January 2022 from 6.00pm to 7.30pm.
