Rosebarn Lane area 2017 consultation

This consultation closed on Wednesday 7 June.

Devon County Council has undertaken a consultation to decide whether to introduce resident parking restrictions in the Rosebarn Lane area of Exeter.

Residents from the area contacted the council and submitted a petition to report that they are experiencing difficulties with the current on-street parking that is taking place.

In response, the County Council consulted on whether residents of the streets below would be in favour of the introduction of residents’ parking restrictions in Rosebarn Lane and surrounding streets.

  • California Close
  • Collins Road (between Rosebarn Lane and Armstrong Avenue)
  • Doriam Close
  • Florida Drive
  • Lebanon Close
  • Mayflower Avenue
  • Michigan Way
  • Patricia Close
  • Pennsylvania Road (from its junction with Rosebarn Lane northwards to its junction with Stoke Valley Road)
  • Rosebarn Lane
  • Stoke Valley Road (western section up to junction with Plassey Close)
  • The Fairway
  • Valley Park Close
  • Yew Tree Close

It is important that we know the current views of everyone who might be affected by new restrictions, responses will contribute towards the final decision.

What happens next?

The responses will be collated and a summary of the comments submitted will be reported to the Exeter Highways and Traffic Orders Committee at its meeting on 4 July 2017.

At this meeting, the councillors will make a decision of whether to progress a residents parking scheme in the Rosebarn Lane Area.
