Early Years Educator Apprenticeships

As part of the Spring Budget 2023, the Government announced large-scale reforms to significantly increase the number of parents entitled to funded childcare support. By 1st September 2025, all working parents of children from age 9 months will be eligible for 30 hours of childcare.

As a result the demand for high quality childcare will increase making this the perfect time to consider a career in early years and childcare.

There are two entry-level early years apprenticeships, both apprenticeships are suitable for those with no previous experience:

• level 2 early years practitioner
• level 3 early years educator
