Disability Access Funding (DAF)

The Disability Access Funding (DAF) is funding for early years providers to support children with disabilities or special educational needs. 3- and 4-year olds will be eligible for the DAF if they are in receipt of Disability Living Allowance (DLA) and if they are accessing the funded entitlement at an early years provider.

Applications via the Provider Portal can only be approved if the relevant evidence is attached (guidance here) and we can see that you are claiming early years funding for the child.

Please only apply for DAF once you have submitted hours for the child on the relevant headcount/amendment task. We will be unable to process the application until this has been done.
