Expression of Interest form for Expansion Funding

Devon Early Years and Childcare Service have been allocated funding from the Department for Education (DfE) for the expansion of places for 2 year olds and under.

We are asking all providers who are interested in expanding their provision to complete the Expression of Interest (EOI) form for Expansion Funding.

This is to gauge the level of interest from early years and childcare providers who are considering expanding their provision to meet the new childcare entitlements. The new entitlements will be rolled out gradually to make sure providers can meet the needs of more families, starting from April 2024, with eligible working parents of 2 year olds able to access 15 hours a week of funded childcare.

Completing the EOI form does not commit you to expansion. A grant application form will be sent following submission EOI form. This will be shortly after EOI closes on 1st December 2023. (Grants will be limited and cannot be used for capital purposes.)
