This book aims to support conversations with children about complex thoughts and feelings, particularly for children who are recovering from trauma.

To support the implementation of the revised EYFS, the Department for Education has developed a new online service for private, voluntary and independent early years settings and childminders.

On Monday 5th July 2021 there will be a live webinar hosted by NHS clinicians in Devon who will provide information about the COVID-19 vaccine and fertility, pregnancy and breastfeeding, followed by a question and answer session.

The online short course is free and a great place to start learning about children and young people’s speech, language and communication development.

Update to the EYFS disapplications guidance.

Updates include: ‘Reported coronavirus (COVID-19) notifications by registered early years and childcare settings’; ‘Early years inspection handbook’, ‘Early years foundation stage (EYFS) statutory framework’ ; ‘Attendance in education and early years settings during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak – 23 March 2020 to 24 June 2021’ and ‘Childcare providers and inspections as at 31 March 2021’.
