EYFS Reforms training (childminders only) and Safeguarding Forum (open to all early years and childcare providers)

The Revised Early Years Foundation Stage will become statutory in September 2021. To support the implementation of this, the Early Years and Childcare team are offering a series of virtual training events.

There are 3 parts to the training. You will need to book onto a session from Part 1, a session from Part 2 and a session from Part 3. It would be useful for you to attend all parts, but not essential.

• Part 1 – Introduction to the EYFS Reforms – childminders only
• Part 2 – Development Matters Explained and the EYFS Assessment – childminders only
• Part 3 – EYFS Safeguarding & Welfare Requirements (Safeguarding Forum) –  open to all early years and childcare providers.
