Celebrating our key workers

Amelia Joyner, Pre-School Leader at Cullompton Pre-School, shares how the pre-school has enjoyed coming together to celebrate the work of keyworkers during lockdown:

On our last day of the Spring term we decided to celebrate; dress up in rainbow colours and thank all the key workers for working during the pandemic.

The rainbow is a symbol for us in our logo and the children absolutely loved making lots of rainbow craft! Lots of our families are key workers and we are proud to have supported them in their work by being open all the way through since March 2020.

We wanted to celebrate our own team and we thank those who have worked through the lockdowns locally. Everyone has played a part and we are thankful to see the end of the 3rd lockdown and be ready for a fantastic Summer term where we will be enjoying forest school, getting out and about and inviting visitors back in!
