Planning and coordination
We plan our roadworks programme in advance and try to provide as much notice as possible but often, uncompromising and challenging decisions need to be taken when performing the network coordination function.
Other organisations such as utility companies are also encouraged to provide as much notice as possible to residents, but occasionally they may need to start work without doing so (they have a legal right to do this when needed) and in these circumstances, you should contact them directly with any questions or complaints.
Every work site is required to have a permit board displaying the site reference number, the promoter’s name and contact information.
