Creative Innovation and Growth Programme (CIAG)
The Creative Innovation & Growth (CIAG) Programme supports Adult Social Care businesses and organisations in Devon. There are three elements within this package: the CIAG Grants Fund; CIAG Business Support; & CIAG Leadership Development. The overall aim of the CIAG Programme is to increase sufficiency in the Devon ASC sector by supporting the market to grow, develop, and diversify. This includes personal, residential and unregulated care.

CIAG Grants Fund
The grants fund has three aims:
- To increase sufficiency in the ASC sector across Devon by supporting the market (including personal, residential and unregulated care) to grow; develop; and diversify, as appropriate.
- To stimulate ‘edge of care’ outreach and prevention activities by: promoting and supporting independence; connecting people to their communities; keeping people healthier for longer; and thereby reducing the need for statutory intervention.
- To encourage innovation; take-up of new technology; new delivery models; and partnership developments.

CIAG Business Support
Devon County Council has commissioned free Business Support for ASC organisations and businesses in Devon with the aim of increasing sufficiency in the ASC sector by supporting the market (including personal, residential and unregulated care) to: grow; develop; and diversify, as appropriate. The current business support package runs from August 2018 – June 2020. This business support will help you develop and grow your business and help you identify potential areas for growth and improvement.
Business Support is provided by BIP.
All ASC organisations considering a CIAG Grants Fund application will be able to access this package of business support which may assist, where appropriate, with their CIAG Grant application.

CIAG Leadership Development
Devon County Council has also commissioned free Leadership Development Workshops for ASC organisations and businesses in Devon with the aim of developing ASC Leadership & Management skills and thereby increasing sufficiency and in the ASC sector. These workshops are designed to help you as a ASC Manager to support your staff and run your business more efficiently.The first round of workshops ran from September 2018 until March 2020 and it is planned to resume these workshops for a second round running from September 2020 until March 2021. This is subject to the current COVID 19 Governmental restrictions on movement being lifted.
Leadership Development Workshops are provided by Cosmic.
Any eligible ASC organisation in Devon which feels it would benefit from Leadership Development can apply to attend these workshops.
