Northern Devon Business Park and Enterprise Centre
The Enterprise Centre is the flagship building at Devon County Council’s emerging Business Park development at Roundswell, near Barnstaple.
The Centre will offer high-quality office and collaboration space. It will provide tailored support for entrepreneurs, business start-ups, and small and medium-sized businesses that have potential for high growth and innovation, and is complementary to Petroc’s new Centre for Technology & Innovation Excellence (CoTIE) and Institute of Technology.
An expert operator will deliver the business support and run the centre on behalf of Devon County Council.
The remainder of the employment land on the site will be marketed for sale for mixed business uses later this year and, when fully developed, the business park is expected to support around 350 jobs, with 100 of these hosted in the Enterprise Centre.
The Business Park and Enterprise Centre will benefit the whole of the northern Devon economy by creating jobs, retaining and attracting talent and skilled labour, and encouraging inward investment.
Contractor ISG is developing the site for Devon County Council. Work started on site in October 2019.
The start of work on the Enterprise Centre development for northern Devon has been marked with a turf cutting ceremony.
