If my care home is in lock down – what happens if there is an emergency like a fire?

In an emergency situation such as a fire when there is risk to life than normal fire and evacuation procedures would apply but please be mindful of how you manage residents’ exposure to infection (either infecting others or becoming infected themselves) during and after evacuation and adjust your alternative accommodation plans accordingly.
