This page provides updates and announcements for care home providers to support the implementation of the All Ages Adult Social Care (ASC) Care Home Contract and the Older Persons’ Care Home Fee Model. It is designed to keep care home providers and stakeholders informed about key updates, guidance, and resources.

  • Frequency: Updates will be added as new information becomes available, including guidance documents, workshop/webinar materials, and meeting details.

Updates and Announcements  

Devon County Council has confirmed the decision on the new All Ages Adult Social Care (ASC) Care Home Contract and Older Persons’ Care Home Fee Model, effective 10th November 2025. For more information on this please visit – Decision Page 

Residential and Nursing Providers 

The new ASC all age contract is for all care home providers, it must be signed and returned to ensure you continue to receive referrals for new Council-funded placements, including hospital discharge placements. 

The DCC All-Ages Contract and Older Persons Care Home Fee Model will apply to: 

•All new client referrals 

•All existing clients at the point of their review.

  • Send key procurement and contract updates – including KPI monitoring information that supports your contract requirements.
  • Invite the appropriate staff to Care Home Forum meetings – ensuring your team stays informed about sector developments and DCC updates.
  • Issue referrals and urgent operational notifications – so referrals are delivered to the correct inbox without delay, helping avoid missed opportunities or service disruption.

We use your contact details solely for legitimate DCC operational and commissioning purposes. Keeping them accurate ensures you continue to receive the information you need, when you need it.

Provider Workshops – To help providers understand and implement the new contract, DCC hosted a number of online workshops. You can find the presentation slides and resulting FAQs from the workshops below: 

County Care Home Forum (All-Ages Care Homes) & Care With Accommodation for People with Disabilities Forum – 2026 Dates

These online forums are open to all Care Home providers within the Devon County Council (DCC) area. They offer a valuable opportunity to connect with Devon’s Care with Accommodation Team, NHS Devon, Commissioners, fellow Care Home providers, and other professionals.

Please save these dates in your diary. Formal invitations, including registration links, will be sent to providers ahead of each meeting.

Information Resources Group 

About the Group 

The Information Resources Group is a collaborative working group made up of Care Home Providers, Devon County Council, Devon Partnership Trust and NHS Devon staff, co-producing practical guidance to support the new fee model and placement process. 

  • Meeting Frequency: Bi-weekly, Thursdays from 13:00-14:30
