‘Decarbonise Devon’ is now open for enquiries
Hosted by Devon Energy Collective – a network of Devon Community Energy Companies – the new energy service company is accepting enquiries from small and medium enterprises looking to reduce their energy usage. A ‘One-Stop-Shop’ for energy efficiency projects, Decarbonise Devon supports businesses through the process, from a free, no-commitment assessment, to the design and implementation of projects.
Although many businesses want to reduce their energy, for both economic and environmental reasons, it can be difficult to know where to begin. Decarbonise Devon is run by local experts drawn from the community energy sector, who understand the needs and challenges involved in reducing and changing energy usage. By taking care of the planning, project management, sourcing financing, and monitoring the impact of the changes, Decarbonise Devon makes this process easy.
The innovative financing model used means that businesses can make these changes without significant capital outlay, making this process affordable even for small enterprises. The service is also open to both landlords and tenants, so you don’t need to own your premises to sign up.
The form to sign up is on the Decarbonise Devon website. Currently, only Devon-based businesses are eligible.
