Access to Work

Young people and adults

Access to Work is a Department for Work and Pension (DWP) grant scheme that can help you get or stay in work if you have a physical or mental health condition or disability. Because it is a grant it does not have to be paid back.

It can also help with communication support at interview.

Employers

An Access to Work grant can pay for practical support to enable your employee to start or stay in work, or to support you if you are self-employed.

Find out more through the government’s Access to Work factsheet for employers.
