Devon County Council have vacancies for School Crossing Patrols at various Schools across Devon.
Patrols help children and other pedestrians cross the road safely, whilst they are walking to and from school.
Working as a Patrol is a most enjoyable and rewarding job for people of any age. If you can spare up to five to seven hours per week, in the morning and afternoon during school term time, enjoy being outside in all weathers and helping your local community, this could be the job for you.
Full uniform and training will be provided.
Our Engineering Teams design, commission and monitor large and small projects across the County including major roads, bridges, recycling centres and cycle routes which are crucial to the future environmental and economic wellbeing of Devon.
Our waste management team ensure that current waste is managed and where possible recycled whilst seeking to reduce future waste generation through education and communication initiatives

Our award winning apprenticeships give opportunities for career development to school/college leavers and those seeking career change.
