In the Revenue and Payments team, we are responsible for debt recovery, debt management and the collection of income. Our work involves raising invoices, processing income and reconciling the county’s bank account.

We are responsible for processing payments to suppliers and creditors including HMRC. We also provide guidance to all service areas including advice on payments of accounts standards, policies and protocols. Our hard work ensures that information about local authority expenditure is published in accordance with the transparency code and public contracts regulations.
