A practice lead in adult social care is a professional responsible for ensuring high standards and best practices are consistently applied in the care and support of adults, particularly in areas like disabilities, safeguarding, and mental capacity.

Disability focus, Practice Leads, support people with disabilities including learning disability, autism/ADHD, physical disability, and hearing/sight impairment. You will also work closely with the Disability Leads to ensure that excellent practice is embedded into the work of operation Adult Social Care staff and managers.

Adult Safeguarding, Practice Leads, ensure that good safeguarding practice is embedded into the work of operational Integrated Adult Social Care staff and managers.

Mental Capacity Act, Practice Leads, will make a significant difference in terms of driving practice change/improvement and informing service development.
