Do it for the moments that change a child’s future.
In our Exeter and East Devon Locality, social workers are based across two distinct locations, each offering its own unique benefits. From Exeter, Devon’s vibrant and historic city, to Honiton, a welcoming market town at the heart of East Devon, our teams support diverse communities while enjoying excellent connections to both coast and countryside.

Exeter
Our Exeter and East Locality teams are based in our Exeter office in the heart of Devon’s vibrant county city, offering the best of both worlds: a thriving urban centre surrounded by beautiful countryside and coastline. Rich in history yet forward-looking and dynamic, Exeter offers a bustling city centre, excellent transport links, a renowned university, and a growing cultural and business scene.
With easy access to the East Devon coast, Dartmoor National Park, and picturesque market towns such as Topsham and Crediton, Exeter provides an exceptional quality of life. Whether you enjoy exploring independent shops and cafés, spending time outdoors, or taking advantage of excellent leisure and cultural opportunities, Exeter is a fantastic place to live, work and build your career.
Our teams work across a diverse locality that stretches from the vibrant city of Exeter to the stunning Jurassic Coast. Whether you’re drawn to the seaside charm of Exmouth, Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton, the character and community spirit of Honiton, Ottery St Mary and Axminster, or the convenience and culture of city living in Exeter, you’ll find a place that feels like home.
Life here is shaped by easy access to some of the South West’s most spectacular landscapes. Spend your free time exploring coastal paths, relaxing on award-winning beaches, visiting charming independent shops and cafés, or discovering the rolling countryside and nearby Dartmoor National Park. Excellent transport connections make it easy to stay connected while enjoying a more relaxed pace of life.
