I have had the privilege of working at one of the children’s homes for several years now and under DCC for a year, and it has truly been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Every day presents new challenges, but the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable children is something that motivates me continually.
The work can be emotionally demanding, but the connections we build with the children—offering them safety, support, and guidance—make it all worth it. The teamwork among colleagues is exceptional, and we all share the same goal of helping each child grow and thrive.
This job has taught me so much about resilience, empathy, and the importance of providing a stable environment for young people. I am proud to be a part of such an important and impactful field.
