TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.

From:  TUESDAY 10 FEBRUARY 2026

To:      MONDAY 09 AUGUST 2027

No persons shall proceed on the section of the affected unclassified road except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of way. The order will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.

Public rights of way affected:

Scratch Face Lane, Ide (unsurfaced Unclassified County Road 302) from the north-western end of Ide Footpath 3 (off Ide Village Road) to College Lane.

There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic as the Lane is a cul-de-sac. The alternative route for pedestrians is along the footway next to Ide Village Road, Ide Footpath 3 near Fordlands and then along College Lane.

The temporary closure is necessary in the interest of public safety.
